Our

History

The idea for the CCSW Community Center began with the Glendale Mat Club, a local nonprofit that helped student athletes attend major tournaments—opening doors to college scholarships and life-changing opportunities. While supporting youth, coaches saw deeper needs in the community—food insecurity, lack of childcare, and limited access to basic services.

In response, they secured funding to purchase and renovate a vacant building in Glendale, launching the CCSW Community Center. Today, that vision is becoming a reality.
